‘ EL-NAHDA ’
THE SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
1- The vision
We work with children & youth to help them grow up open minded. We aim to stimulate their creativity & their critical awareness in an attempt to create a more equitable society.
2-The mission
The association focuses on children & youth to provide them with a place and tools that complement and help their upbringing.
El-Nahda Association is giving the children & the youth opportunities to put into practice their rights of learning, freedom of speech through the practice of a wide range of artistic expressions.
3- Strategy
We focus our task on the poor & disregarded in various environments, mainly on children deprived from a chance of receiving a good education or expressing themselves freely. But we are open to other categories to keep our vision and our expectations revived.
4- Objective
+ All the activities are primarily addressed to the poor and marginalized categories in cities, villages and neighbourhoods.
+ Centred in various age groups according to the needs.
+ Collective times in which the gender thematic (women-men) is central.
+ Education through arts –cinema, theatre and plastic arts– which are a powerful means to encourage creativity and confidence to express oneself freely.
