THE CULTURAL PROGRAM
The cultural program wants to create a link between the social interest and the cultural production, between the operating stuff in El Nahda and their social links and the intellectuals which are interested in the social work. The Cultural Program establishes the opportunity of a direct exchange of experiences between different associations and intellectuals to create a new network including social workers, artists, intellectuals and people from the neighbourhood (El Fagala and around it.)
Within the Cultural Program's frame, El Nahda creates the necessary atmosphere to open discussions about different issues.
OBJECTIVES
1. Caring for education of marginalized classes, young people and families of neighbourhoods in which the association is working – El Fagala, El Sharabya, El Qussayreen, Monsha'et sadr, El Hagana Kafr Shokr.
2. Spreading out the circle of beneficiaries of el-Nahda's programs, including all young people and University students who do not find spaces to express themselves.
3. Finding new ways to help young Egyptians to express themselves freely and creatively without artificial restrictions.
4. Highlighting the hot issues ignored by society –the Body, Women, Citizenship, Freedom, Children's Rights.
5. Creating a link between the intellectuals who are interested in social issues and the deprived classes with which the association is working with.
6. Creating a suitable atmosphere for the exchange of experiences.
7. Opening the association to different cultural milieus and other associations.
8. Raising the cultural and artistic level of members of the association and developing their skills.
9. Forming the new work teams that help the association to perform its mission.
10. Provide information and new experience to the people who work in the centres and schools collaborating with El Nahda.
11. Working with independent artists and intellectuals.
12. Providing opportunities to show the works of young creators –Exhibitions, Evenings, Meetings, Films, Animation, Distinct artistic works.
