THE MUSICAL CLUB
With the music club, people have the opportunity of listening to different kinds of music: Arabic, classical, world music, etc. These weekly sessions are preceded by discussions and explanations of some musical terminology and basic musical concepts.
*OBJECTIVES
1- Creating in the children the habit of listening and appreciating a wide range of musical styles.
2- Listening from the simplest to complexes melodies to help the children to discover the different musical categories.
3- Developing the child's skills of distinguishing the sounds, styles of the music which is performed, etc.
* Interventions
1- Symposium for the Iraqi lute musician Nossir SHAMA.
2- Concerts of the solo harp musician Mohamed ANTAR.
3- Concerts of the solo lute musician Mostafa SAID.
